The SynthFest France is the main French event dedicated to synthesizer manufacturers, electronic musicians, music enthusiasts and professionals.
This festival was created in 2014. It takes place every year in Nantes. Since its first edition, the SynthFest France has grown. Its success is due to its originality and the passion of the people involved in this project. The SynthFest is not an “only music” festival, but an event dedicated to manufacturers. A particular importance is given to small French synthesizer manufacturers. It is not a commercial show, but a gathering of enthusiasts. People know each other, and like to meet every year. Not too small, not too big, the SynthFest France is the main french synth family.
The synthesizer manufacturers enjoy this festival because of the occasion to meet every year each other, to exchange ideas and to share their experience. It is also an opportunity for the manufacturers to meet the users. The synergy that is shared between all the actors of the electronic music market is one of the keys of SynthFest France.
The SynthFest France has quickly become one of the reference events in the synthesizer industry. The major brands are also present, as well as many European brands. Over the years, the SynthFest has evolved by offering new things every year: DIY modular workshops, showcases, concerts, masterclasses, exclusive demonstrations, raffles and various animations.
In 2020 and 2021, the SynthFest was held on the internet. It was a big success and these virtual editions have given the SynthFest an international dimension. In 2022, the physical edition of SynthFest was also a great success. An institutional shift is underway, while maintaining its friendly and warm spirit. During this last edition was held the first "Trophées SynthFest / SACEM / UNAC" which rewarded confirmed artists and young talents of the french electronic music world.
